Love love love all the crafts and family participation days! That said, I think snacks and breakfast could be more nutritious... Rice Krispie Treats and Gogurt for example are full of added sugar. What about plain yogurt with real fruit instead (make your own parfait!) or "cereal trail mix" (not Chex Mix with it's sugar, but a house mix of Cheerios, Kix, and Chex without the added salty/sweet bits... Use Honey Nut Cheerios -- plain for under 1 year olds -- and rice Chex? Or add in no sugar added yogurt melts from Costco for a "sweet" flavor) or even cheese and low sodium crackers?”
